I’m Liza, and my journey has been anything but traditional—but that’s what makes it special!
I started my career as a receptionist at a windows and doors company in Winnipeg, where I quickly worked my way up into inside sales and later took on the role of managing the company’s safety program in Calgary. After eight years, I embraced a new challenge as a project administrator for a cold-formed steel company, helping build multilevel non-combustible systems for 15 years.
Life then took me to Ottawa, where I made a big decision—to invest in myself. I had started a family at a young age and always promised I’d graduate before my kids did. While life had other plans, I never let go of that goal. In 2024, I finally kept my promise to myself and earned my diploma in business management and accounting.
Through all of this, I’ve been fortunate to build a successful career despite not having a traditional education early on. My experiences taught me that resilience, determination, and hands-on learning can take you just as far as a degree. Now, I’m channeling everything I’ve learned into growing my own company—an exciting venture built on years of hard work, adaptability, and passion.
I believe success isn’t about where you start; it’s about how you grow, evolve, and never stop believing in yourself. If my journey proves anything, it’s that it’s never too late to chase your goals and create a future you’re proud of.
